Prenatal Partners Birth Prep Yoga and Massage

BOOK HERE

This 2 hour workshop is designed to help 22wk+ Mamas and their birth partners learn to use the tools of yoga and massage in pregnancy and birth. The pregnant birth parent can greatly benefit from having a birth partner teammate who knows how to help them with the aches and pains of pregnancy, the challenge and focus needed for labour/childbirth, and the emotional and physical support postpartum. You'll each learn and practice breathing techniques, couples yoga postures, and massage, all with the aim to ease and relax into the birth process, from pregnancy to baby's arrival. No prior yoga experience necessary. This workshop is more about connecting to your partner and your baby, and all three (or four?) of you learning to physically and mentally navigate pregnancy, labour ,and birth together than it is about simply doing yoga.

All props provided. Please bring water and any snacks you need, and wear comfortable, loose clothing. Optionally, you can bring something to take notes with, but I’ll send you a recap document after the workshop regardless.

£50 per set of partners. Workshop limited to 8 partners. I host this workshop every 2 months or so and it tends to fill up early. No refunds. Should you need to cancel, you can do so with 48 hours notice before the scheduled event. You will receive credit on your account to put towards perinatal classes or workshops, use within 6 months.

YOGA & HOT SPRINGS RETREAT

ABOUT

Join Katrina Baccetti and Laura Della Guardia for a weekend of yoga and relaxation at the healing waters of Wilbur Hot Springs. Just hours north of San Francisco, disconnect completely at this off-grid, solar-powered, naturally occurring mineral hot springs resort, all set on an 1800-acre nature reserve.

Wilbur Hot Springs is a refuge from the fast pace and noise of the modern world. This land and its healing waters offer a unique opportunity to slow down, quiet the mind, and listen deeply. Here, you can let go, sink into yourself, and reconnect with what matters most. Explore nature and feed your soul—enjoy long walks, hiking, running, mountain biking, bird-watching, and incredible stargazing at night.

Wilbur inspires personal reflection and connection to spirit. We'll spend the weekend together practicing meditation, pranayama, vinyasa, yin, and restorative yoga. Nourishing, mostly organic, vegetarian meals will be prepared for you and enjoyed as a group. Vegan and gluten free options will be available. You'll have plenty of free time to enjoy the 1800-acre nature reserve with hikes and soaking in the hot springs at your leisure.

ABOUT THE WATER

Wilbur's geothermal water contains three ounces of dissolved minerals per gallon and is entirely undiluted, untreated, and unheated, which is rare in North America. The average temperatures are 98, 105 and 109 degrees Fahrenheit. The minerals in the waters have positive therapeutic effects on skin diseases, asthma, neuralgia, arteriosclerosis, rheumatism and shoulder, neck, and wrist pains, pain relief, and depression, as well as detoxifying and mucolytic effects. The minerals present are sulfur, silica, metaboric acid, and the most unique element of the geothermal water is lithium, which promotes a deeper state of relaxation.
