This 2 hour workshop is designed to help 22wk+ Mamas and their birth partners learn to use the tools of yoga and massage in pregnancy and birth. The pregnant birth parent can greatly benefit from having a birth partner teammate who knows how to help them with the aches and pains of pregnancy, the challenge and focus needed for labour/childbirth, and the emotional and physical support postpartum. You'll each learn and practice breathing techniques, couples yoga postures, and massage, all with the aim to ease and relax into the birth process, from pregnancy to baby's arrival. No prior yoga experience necessary. This workshop is more about connecting to your partner and your baby, and all three (or four?) of you learning to physically and mentally navigate pregnancy, labour ,and birth together than it is about simply doing yoga.
All props provided. Please bring water and any snacks you need, and wear comfortable, loose clothing. Optionally, you can bring something to take notes with, but I’ll send you a recap document after the workshop regardless.
£55 per set of partners. Workshop limited to 8 partners. I host this workshop every 2 months or so and it tends to fill up early. No refunds. Should you need to cancel, you can do so with 48 hours notice before the scheduled event. You will receive credit on your account to put towards perinatal classes or workshops, use within 6 months.
