About the retreat: Join us for an afternoon of prenatal yoga, meditation, mini massages, journaling, postnatal planning and more. This retreat is all about YOU and your motherhood journey. You'll meet other expecting mums and have plenty of time for connection and discussion around all things motherhood. Your retreat hosts are Laura, mum of 1 and pregnancy and postnatal yoga instructor; Adeline, mum of 1, a maternity nurse and postnatal doula; and Kirsty, mum of 4, midwife and hypnobirthing specialist.
How to prepare: Please bring a bottle of water and wear loose, comfortable clothing you can move in. Mats and props provided. You are welcome to bring snacks you are able to consume discreetly. Paper and pen to take notes optional.
About your hosts:
Laura Della Guardia is an RPYT and RYT-500 Advanced Yoga Teacher. She is French-American and moved from San Francisco to London a few years ago to be closer to family but also to start one of her own. Since being pregnant and then giving birth to her son, she has become even more passionate about helping pregnant women feel confident and find ease in their pregnant bodies. Kirsty Adam-Kando is a local mother of 4, practicing midwife, Hypnobirthing instructor and baby massage therapist who is passionate about helping parents gain knowledge and understanding to help them make informed decisions around their births to enable them to have the positive experiences possible. Adeline Tye: Adeline is a postnatal doula, maternity nurse and mum of 1, who has a background of over 20 years supporting families to find their feet. She runs local support classes and meet ups for new parents, focusing on building that village of support for you in those early weeks and months.
